Our clinic remains open for abortion services and IUD insertion. However, in order to continue to offer our services to you without interruption, we must reduce the risk of transmission of the coronavirus.
For general gynecology consultations, appointments at the clinic will be limited to cases that we have previously evaluated by telephone consultation, as recommended by public health authorities.
Instructions for making an appointment for an abortion or IUD insertion:
- If you have returned from a trip outside Canada in the past 14 days or you have been in contact with a probable or confirmed case of COVID-19, do not make an appointment until the end of your quarantine of 14 days required by public health authorities.
- If you have symptoms (fever, dry cough, tiredness) please wait until you are fully recovered before making an appointment.
- If you already have an appointment and have returned from a trip outside Canada in the past 14 days, have symptoms or have been in contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID- 19, please contact us to reschedule your appointment.
Only women with an appointment will be admitted in the clinic. You will need to advise your companion to show up only when you are ready to leave the clinic.
When you arrive, before entering the clinic, an employee will take your temperature after asking you a few questions about your current health. She will disinfect your cell phone and ask you to disinfect your hands.
YOU WILL BE OBLIGED TO WEAR A FACE COVERING DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF YOUR VISIT. We strongly suggest that you bring your own face cover.
While waiting for your appointment, follow the instructions from the government authorities on COVID-19:
